Archmage of the Mage Guild and the Stillwake Triumvirate’s regulator of magical knowledge. The Magician treats spellcraft as infrastructure: something to classify, monitor, sequester, and deny when necessary. He is most dangerous before a battle begins, when counter-lattices, redundancies, and surveillance have already reduced the opponent’s choices.
